Kim Potter claims she mistook her gun for a taser in the killing of Daunte Wrigth.

My question is : Why are tasers made like identical replicas of hand guns ? Why not make the taser in the shape of a simple box with a button to activate it ? There is no need for a taser to have a trigger or a cannon making it looks like a gun.Keeping the tasers simple and distinguishable would save lives.
